Two coats. This is exactly what I expect from a China Glaze fall color - in a good way. A dark, vampy shimmer. Deep, deep plum purple. In the bottle it looks absolutely astonishing, so I couldn't not try this one out first. What is visible in the bottle, only subtly shows up on the nail, at least compared to the totally gorgeous sparkles seen through the bottle glass. But that's okay. Also, I'm guessing you could make more of it surface by doing very thin coats, instead of the pretty fluent ones I did.
I could barely keep my eyes open last night when I did this manicure, but I still managed! Sadly, I'm almost as tired today, which is why my writings seem so strange - at least to me. But hey, I posted a pretty polish!
